About Cascade Drives
Cascade Drives has developed a patented electromechanical linear actuator that combines high force and speed, offering a sustainable alternative to hydraulics. With significant market potential, this technology is meeting strong demand driven by automation and electrification trends. Currently, we're conducting durability tests and preparing for full-scale production. Our team is dynamic, motivated, and values autonomy and responsibility.
Your Role
- Application engineering and tuning at customer sites
- Analyse, document, and diagnose product behaviour
- Integrate software and electrical systems, support small-scale production
- Demonstrate product features, commission, and debug complex issues
- Develop application software and support project stages
- Deepen customer application knowledge and respond to needs
- Travel (25% of your time) for customer visits and trade shows
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in embedded systems, C/C++, and basic electrical/mechanical skills
- Experience with control strategy and controller design
- Familiarity with motors, frequency converters, JIRA, and GitHub
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Teamwork and Attitude:
- Great teammate with a "can-do" mentality
- Helpful, patient, and strong commitment to goals
- Communication: Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel internationally (up to 25% travelling time)
- Hands-On Experience: Practical experience with wire harness layouts, cabinet designs, and PLC/VFD programming
