Software Engineer - Linux wireless driver support

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer in Linux wireless driver support for our Customer Support team. We are continuously delivering new features and improvements to our customers. Our web applications allow customers to get new insights in their business processes and logistic flows based on information from our RTLS/IoT solution.

The Software Engineer position will include customer support, integration and development of drivers and tools for a range of connectivity chips used in our IoT solutions. We are using the latest Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other connectivity technology chips from world leading suppliers and our solutions are developed in close cooperation with the suppliers. Technical responsibilities for this position will encompass involvement in requirements definition, collaboration on software design, implementing software, unit test and software/hardware integration based on defined requirements and detailed design.

Looking for candidates that have a passion and interest for software development in the following areas:
 Device drivers for operating systems based on Linux, running on embedded platforms and PC’s
 Boot-loaders and experience with using ARM and x86 development boards
 Board bring-up experience
 Microprocessor architecture and embedded peripherals
 IP networking and networking protocols
 Software development and integration on complex multi-threaded embedded C and
C++ code bases

Qualifications

Must have requirements are:
 Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline
 Proficiency in C/Linux programming and device drivers, with 5 years of work
experience
 Understanding of programming concepts as mutexes, semaphores, queues, inter-
process communication, and interrupt service routines
 Experience or familiarity with connectivity standards like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
 English fluently and Swedish written and spoken

Preferred, but not required, experience/skills with any of the following:
 C++, C#, Java and Python programming are all desirable
 Familiarity with assembly language for ARM is desirable
 Ability to read schematic diagrams

Permanent employment, full time 40 hours / week, flexible hours
